Does my dog or cat have to be spayed or neutered?
This is a 2 part answer. First NO, they do not have to be altered to board overnight. They have to have all their vaccines and need to be older than 16 weeks.
Second part: If your pet goes into heat they can not stay with us.
If your adult dog wants to attend day camp they must be altered. Puppies can wait until they are 9 months or their first heat or testicles have descended. Once this has happened then we require them to be spayed or neutered.
Can I do my vaccines at home?
No, we do not accept DIY vaccines. There are many reasons as to why we do not accept home or kennel given vaccines. The most important reason is to make sure your pet is receving the most upto date vaccine and that it has been stored and administered properly. This is for the health and safety of all the pets in our facility.
Can my puppy go to camp?
YES, puppies under the age of 9 months can attend camp. They have to have completed all their vaccines. Once they go into heat or their testicles descend then, they can not attend camp until they have been spayed or neutered.
Can we bring Toys and Bedding?
We suppy beds and blankets for all pets that are staying over night. If your pet needs to have a special blanket or Tshirt from home please bring it with them, make sure it is labeled. All beds need to stay at home. We only have small washers and they can't be easily cleaned. If you have a special medical reason for the bed, please be sure to call and discuss this with us. 1 or 2 Toys is acceptable
What is an Evalulation?
Evaluations are for dogs who will be attending our day camp open play environment. There is a one time fee of $40 for the evaluation, it takes approxiimatley 3-5 hours depending on the pet. We are watching for play styes, any aggressive behaivor, how they socialize with multiple pets, how they interact with our staff. Are they sniffing, going potty and drinking water. All these things help us to understand a little about your dog and how they will fit into our current group of dogs.
What is the latest time I can drop my pet off for boarding?
Pets need to be checked in at leaset 1 hour prior to close of business.
Monday-Friday check in time is 5pm
Saturday & Sunday check in time is 4pm
Do I have to book a reservation for my pet?
YES YES YES. You can set up your customer portal online or give us a call. If you want to board your pet on the weekends we recovmmend at leat 2 weeks or more to secure a space. Doggie and Puppy camp Evaluations MUST have a reservation. Holiday stays it is recomended at least 1 month in advance.
Some dates do require a non refundable deposit.
